The historic Eiermannbau building in Apolda, Germany, has been transformed into a modern open workspace that connects architectural heritage with the principles of sustainable development and sustainable construction. Unplastered straw building boards were used to create office units, sanitary facilities and other interior elements.
These natural materials made it possible to create lightweight interior walls, partitions and living partitions, which define working areas while maintaining an open spatial concept. The natural material brings not only a distinctive aesthetic but also contributes to a healthy indoor environment.
Such projects demonstrate that natural materials can serve as a full-value alternative to conventional construction systems. Ekopanely board, manufactured from compressed wheat straw, enables the construction of partitions, walls and interior structures with a very low carbon footprint and a high share of renewable resources.
Projects like Eiermannbau show the potential of natural materials for modern offices, the renovation of historic buildings, and new architecture focused on sustainable development and ecological building solutions.
